Mariia Melnikova

Frontend Developer who |

4+ years building scalable, accessible and performant web applications. I thrive on solving real-world problems with clean code and thoughtful architecture

About Me

I turn complex requirements into elegant interfaces

I believe the best interfaces are invisible – they load fast, feel natural, and just work. I speak design and backend fluently, bridging the gap between pixels and logic with clean, thoughtful code

My daily stack is React + TypeScript. And yes, I treat Core Web Vitals like a personal high-score board

Outside of work, I maintain Bead Loop and craft with my hands: beads, knitting or speed-solving Sudoku. I also love narrative-driven games – Undertale and Hogwarts Legacy are among my favourites, and I still enjoy the creative freedom of sandbox worlds like Minecraft

Things I've built

Bead Loop

Bead Loop is a SaaS SPA for creating and editing beading patterns. You can explore the UI, create templates and projects, and experiment with different pattern types (Loom, Peyote, Cross)

Currently all data is stored in your browser's localStorage, so you can try it out immediately without signing up (API and authentication are currently under active development)

hangman

Hangman is a classic word guessing game where players try to guess a hidden word by suggesting letters. Each incorrect guess brings the hangman closer to completion. Used free external API to get random words and definitions
